Profiling Accessories

Skate profiling means re-shaping the skate blade lengthwise

Skate behaviuor can be changed by manipulating the radius arc on the blade, and changing the profile angle. Traight section on the blade creates stabile and gliding skate. Smaller radius on blade or shorter straight section gives better agility, but lack of stability.

Profiling can create forward lean on skating position. We recommend profiling on every new skates before using. It is good to test several different profiles, to find the perfect profile just for you. 

-Bigger contact surface to ice => Better stability and glide. Lack of agility.
-Smaller contact surface to ice => Better agility, but lack of stability and speed.
